•    The appointment and dismissal of the Public Administrator is made by the Mayor, based on specific criteria, procedures and responsibilities, approved by the Local Council of Satu Mare. The appointment is made on the basis of a competition.
•    The Public Administrator can fulfill, based on a management contract, concluded in this respect with the Mayor, coordination attributions of the specialized apparatus or of the public services of local interest.
•    The Mayor may delegate to the Public Administrator, in accordance with the law, the quality of chief authorizing officer.
•    The attributions of the Public Administrator are established by the order of the Mayor of Satu Mare.
