On the occasion of the most important celebration of our community, the City Days of Satu Mare, we were delighted to welcome and host delegations from our twintowns and partner cities: Beregovo (Ukraine), Nyíregyháza (Hungary), Veľké Kapušany - Nagykapos (Slovakia), Gorlice (Poland) and Ujgorod (Ukraine).

This is a truly special day for both our cities, Satu Mare and Rzeszów, since we have developed a twinning partnership, meaning a beautiful relationship of cooperation and friendship.

CityWalk2.0’s main goal is to promote energy transition in the transport sector by drastically reducing energy use of urban transport.

We celebrate today the Romanian-Polish Solidarity Day, a day with special significance for the municipality of Satu Mare.

We do not want a new iron curtain to come down again, 32 years after the fall of communism!

In all these years you have been our partners, friends, you have been models for us. We have learned how to develop our communities, to build a future in this part of Europe.
